Important information for those who are waiting for a delivery!

When it's time to receive your shipment, it's important to keep the following points in mind, regardless of which shipping company is responsible for the delivery.

Delivery does not include carrying aid

Most shipping services do not include carrying assistance. This means that the driver brings the necessary tools to unload your goods from the truck or van at the plot boundary. Help with transporting the goods into stairs, elevators or to other places at your address is usually not included. If carrying help is needed, it is a good idea to prepare and arrange this on your own.

Assist the driver to find the right one

If your location, such as a basement location, is difficult to find, it can be challenging for the driver. Make sure there are clear signs and instructions when the driver arrives.

Be contacted in connection with the delivery

There are two options for being contacted when delivering to companies: Notification and Delivery Notice. Notification means that the carrier and recipient jointly book a time and day for delivery. Delivery notification means that the driver calls approximately 30 minutes before the delivery. These options are booked by the person who ordered the shipping.

Parcel box, delivery point or home delivery

It is the sender who has booked the shipment who decides which service is used. The shipping services may vary between different shipping companies and with the person who has booked the shipping. If in doubt, contact the sender or whoever booked the shipment, who should be able to confirm the type of delivery you can expect.

Check for damage

Before you sign for the goods, start by inspecting the outer packaging. If you find damage to the outer packaging, note the word "damage" when you sign.

If the content is damaged

Document with pictures and any film from the outer packaging to the contents. Save the packaging until the complaint case has been completed. If you discover damage to the contents, contact the company from which you ordered the goods. It is the freight orderer who must inform the freight company of what has happened.

Will my package arrive on time?

Domestic shipping usually takes 1-2 days, but situations may arise along the way, e.g. bad weather, traffic accidents or heavy traffic, which cause it to be delayed. With the tracking, you can see the estimated delivery date.

Which shipping company is the best?

All shipping companies we work with are selected because they are leading and good carriers. However, they can be different for different destinations or different types of goods. But luckily, you don't have to be an expert on shipping companies - we are. The system will always offer you the most suitable carrier at the best price.

Why can my package be tracked?

To more easily understand and estimate when the delivery will take place. And if something should happen on the way, the shipping company knows where to start the investigation.
