If you are sending a package to a country outside the European Union, such as Schweiz or Serbia, you need to prepare a commercial invoice or proforma so that customs can approve your shipment.
To send to countries outside the EU, you must provide an EORI number, which is your unique registration number in the commercial invoice. Companies importing and exporting outside the EU apply for an EORI number through the customs authorities.
