If you are sending goods to countries outside the EU, such as the USA, Norway or Japan, you must include a commercial or proforma invoice in the shipment in order for customs to process it correctly.
For freight shipments to countries outside the EU, an EORI number (Economic Operators' Registration and Identification) is usually required. This number is used to identify you as an importer or exporter in the trade documents. The application for an EORI number is made through the customs authority.
Important to note is that PO Box addresses are not suitable for delivery of freight shipments. It is necessary to enter a physical delivery address in order for the shipping company to pick up and deliver the shipment.
