It is of course important to ensure that the recipient receives their shipment in perfect condition. To guarantee this, you must pack your goods in a safe and well-thought-out way. Your package will be subjected to stress from sorting machines and people handling and reloading during transport. The more fragile the content, the more protection is needed.
Sending goods within Sweden or within the EU is a simple and uncomplicated process. However, if your shipment is destined for countries such as Norway or the United States, careful preparation and insight into the specific rules and regulations applicable in the country in question is required. Doing this in advance is wise to avoid delays and surprise costs.
For countries that are not members of the European Union, a special customs invoice or proforma is often required for customs to approve the import or export of goods. Do not hesitate to contact us for advice and guidance regarding these documents.
If you ship goods to countries outside the EU, you must include your unique registration number, known as the EORI number, on your commercial invoice or proforma. The application for the EORI number is made to the Swedish Customs Administration and is usually processed relatively quickly. It is important to apply well in advance of your planned shipment.
Note that shipping companies cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. Your shipment must have a physical company-level delivery address. Please ensure that both the sender's and recipient's addresses are correct to avoid possible additional costs and delays due to incorrect address information.
There are items that are prohibited from shipping because they may be harmful to the personnel handling the shipments. Examples of such items include chemicals that may leak. Securities, weapons products, precious metals and live animals are other examples of prohibited items. If you are unsure whether your goods are permitted or not, please do not hesitate to contact us directly for an answer.
