All countries have their own rules and regulations for export and import, especially non-EU member countries. When sending to countries outside the EU, such as China, Japan, Norway, the USA, or Brazil, you need to include a commercial invoice or proforma for customs approval of the shipment.
If you are shipping to countries outside the EU, in addition to a customs invoice, you will need an EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number. This is your unique registration number in the commercial invoice. All companies importing and exporting goods outside the EU are required to apply for and have an EORI number. The application process is done through the Swedish customs authority.
If you provide a P.O. Box address, also known as a postbox, the shipping company won't be able to pick up or deliver. It's important to avoid P.O. Box addresses as it incurs costs for manual changes. Always double-check the addresses to ensure accuracy.
Of course, it is not allowed to send goods that are illegal to possess, but also, for example, chemicals, batteries, and securities may be prohibited to send. Two reasons for this are to prevent harm to the people handling packages and pallets and to avoid damage to other goods.
