Keep track of your shipment with DSV

You who are waiting for goods - take note of this important message!

Most shipping services do not include carrying assistance. This means that the driver will bring the necessary aids to unload your goods from the truck or van at the plot boundary. Help with carrying the goods in, for example in stairs, lifts or to other places at your address, is usually not included in the service. If carrying help is needed, it is good to plan and arrange it yourself.
If you are in a basement or similar, it can be challenging for the driver to find the right place for delivery. Make sure there are clear signs and instructions when the driver arrives.
There are two options for being contacted when delivering to companies: Notification and Delivery Notice. Notification means that the carrier and recipient book a time and day for delivery together. Delivery notification means that the driver calls approximately 30 minutes before the delivery. These options are booked by the person who ordered the shipping.
It is the sender who has booked the shipment who decides which service is used. The shipping services may vary between different shipping companies and with the person who has booked the shipping. If in doubt, contact the sender or whoever booked the shipment, who should be able to confirm the type of delivery you can expect.
Before you sign for the goods, start by checking the outer packaging. If you find damage to the outer packaging, note the word "damage" when you sign.
Document with pictures and any film from the outer packaging to the contents. Save the packaging until the complaint case has been completed. If you discover damage to the contents, contact the company from which you ordered the goods. It is the freight orderer who must inform the freight company of what has happened.
