More and more businesses are sending and receiving pallets within Europe. That is why we have strengthened our partnerships with our carriers DHL, DSV (including the former DB Schenker) and Ntex. The result is lower prices and wider coverage when your business sends or receives pallets in Europe.
What's new?
- Lower prices on pallet shipping for export and import within Europe.
- Improved coverage in more than 8 popular countries, including Germany, Denmark, Spain and Italy.
- More postcode areas in more countries.
What does wider coverage mean?
For pallet shipping, it is not enough to know which countries a carrier serves. The postcode often determines whether a service can be booked, because collection and delivery run through the carrier's terminals and local networks. A country can therefore be covered even if not every part of it is.
We now reach more postcode areas in more countries. More of your shipments therefore get a bookable price directly in the portal, including to and from places outside the major cities. With more shipping options per country, you can choose based on price, delivery time and the service you need.
Applies to both export and import
The improvements apply in both directions. You can send pallets from Sweden to customers in Europe, and you can book a collection from a supplier in Europe and have the pallet delivered to you.
Closer partnerships mean higher quality
“Demand for export and import shipping is high and growing fast among our customers. That is why we have worked actively to build closer partnerships with our carriers, both to expand coverage and to offer our customers more attractive prices. We have also taken a deep dive into how we work with our selected carriers. That is what makes the difference in quality for our customers.”
Marcus Malinen, CCO, Shiplink
When we know each carrier's network, services and requirements, we can help you choose the right service and give you better support if something happens during transport.
What do you need to do?
Nothing. The new prices and options appear automatically when you enter the sender, recipient, dimensions and weight in Shiplink's portal. There you compare the options and book the one that best suits your shipment. If your business does not have an account yet, you can create one for free.
