Shiplink strengthens its position for its next growth phase

Shiplink is entering its next growth phase with a clear ambition: to make marketing a driving force behind the company's commercial development. By bringing marketing and sales closer together, the company aims to strengthen its position, increase demand and create the conditions for continued profitable growth. In August, Marcus Malinen takes on the role of CCO, while Jan Lundin from Zhipster joins the company as strategic advisor.

Following a period of strong focus on building and developing the platform, Shiplink is now taking its next step. The initiative brings a clearer focus on commercialisation, market positioning and scalable sales, with marketing playing a central role in driving growth.

“We are at an exciting stage where we see great opportunities to take Shiplink to the next level. With a stronger commercial organisation, we are even better positioned to grow, develop our offering and create value for both new and existing customers,” says Fredrik Larsson, CEO of Shiplink.

Marketing will raise awareness of Shiplink, communicate the value of its offering and generate demand that can be converted into new customer relationships and business. Through closer collaboration between marketing and sales, the company will develop a connected customer journey, from first contact to a long-term customer relationship.

Marcus Malinen has 20 years of experience in business, leadership and commercial growth. As CCO, he will take overall responsibility for Shiplink's commercial development, including sales, customer relationships and growth. A central part of his role will be to align marketing and sales around shared goals and develop a scalable commercial model.

The ambition is to combine a clear market position with a strong customer focus and an effective sales model. This will enable Shiplink to reach more businesses, create more business opportunities and continue to develop the customer experience.

As part of the initiative, Jan Lundin from Zhipster joins Shiplink as strategic advisor. Jan has experience in business development, commercialisation and growth, and will contribute strategic perspectives to Shiplink's continued development.

In his role as advisor, Jan will support efforts to strengthen the commercial strategy, develop the organisation and create the conditions for scalable, sustainable long-term growth.

“Shiplink has a strong position and clear potential to take the next step. It will be very exciting to contribute my experience and, together with the team, build on the company's commercial development,” says Jan Lundin, strategic advisor to Shiplink.
